Black Deer Live in association with Brighthelmstone Presents Scott Matthews LIVE at St Mary's Church in Newick. 
Due to the great success in sales for our Scott Matthews Keymer, we are presenting another show this November. Scott Matthews will be performing at the beautiful St Mary's Church in Newick. In between Lewes and Tunbridge wells, this Church (nearly 1000 years old) has one of the most beautiful stained glass windows in Sussex, provides the perfect back drop for Scott's music. Just 30 mins from Eridge Park the home of Black Deer Festival, this is somewhat of a festival homecoming. 
The quality of Matthews’ craft is a given. The Ivor Novello-winning artist is part of a lineage that includes such greats as Buckley and Drake, John Martyn and Paul Simon. With guitar in hand and a voice that conveys raw emotion, he has long been established as one of the world’s foremost purveyors of song.
Having broken through with the much-loved Passing Stranger and more recently mastered the delicate art of one-man-and-a-guitar music with sparse musicianship and an otherworldly falsetto, through the records Home Pt I, Home Pt II and The Great Untold, Matthews is travelling along new roads.
 
Scott Matthews was a highlight of this July's BBC Proms as The Royal Albert Hall.
