New Cross Inn, London.
Before the sanitising wave of gentrification, East London was home to squats, secret raves, soundsystems, and late night sweatbox music venues. Fusion of these elements produced Rags Rudi and their diverse sound; combining cockney rowdiness with ska, dub, punk, and grime. Over the years, Rags Rudi have matured into a bonafide sonic smackdown, keeping true to their party-sparking roots while showcasing polished musicianship and lyricism.
