DJ Shock

Hailing from Leeds, he has been an integral part of the foundations for the city's underground dance music scene for the last 30 years. He began in 1984 playing hiphop and electro before moving into the newly emerging rave culture in 1990.

From '92 to '96 he held down the prime time Saturday night DnB/jungle radio show on Dream FM. This radio experience along with his electronics knowledge led to him founding one of the biggest pirate radio stations in the UK - the Leeds based Frequency FM in 2006.

With superior broadcasting quality and range, and hosting the hardest underground radio shows it became an institution for the northern bass music scene, at one point being featured on ITV! Many of the radio show host DJs, MCs and local guests went on to make their name on the national and global stage, puting Leeds firmly on the UK underground music map.

If you miss this opportunity to see this legend. You can catch him playing classic (vinyl only!) 90's jungle at one of his residencies: Jungle Jam, Subdub, We Love Jungle, Outlook Festival, or on the airwaves presenting for Fresh FM.
